Includes interviews with Dr. Orrin Pilkey, Professor of Earth Scieces at Duke University, and Nancy Vinson, Coastal Conservation League’s Program Director for Air and Water Quality. Diagrams and maps are provided by geologist Miles O. Hayes, quoted in a recent Post & Courier article as saying, “I’m appalled that they want to develop that spit. Ridiculous. Stable? It’s one of the most unstable places on the East Coast.”
