Saïdia, known as the “Blue Pearl”, is a beach in the Berkane province, along the Mediterranean Sea and at the Moroccan-Algierian border. With its 14 km coastline it is one of the longest beaches of Morocco, and is characterized by its golden sand and Mediterranean climate. Wikipedia

The sand dunes along this 14km beach have been eradicated to provide sand for construction.
